What difference does having your netbook boot up twice make in your life? SanDisk's SSDs are the answer.

What difference does having your netbook boot up twice make in your life? How about apps that launch even faster? SanDisk has a few SSDs in the works that promise to make netbooks faster. SSDs are faster than traditional hard drives so SanDisk sees an opportunity with the forthcoming pSSD-P2 and pSSD-S2 SSDs.

Find out how the MSI Wind U115 improves performance and battery life at the same time.

When I first read about the MSI Wind U115 hybrid netbook in late November, I wondered what hybrid implied: environment friendly or a mix of two different portable computer categories?

It turns out that I was wrong on both counts. The MSI Wind U115 netbook has to hard drives. One to improve performance and the other to store data. This world’s first is a pretty neat concept as it also improves battery life. Today, it has been made official by MSI.

The New York Times comes to rescue thankfully and breaks it down in an easy to understand format. Computing Without a Whirring Drive
