If you remember, in previous posts I asked about the usefulness of netbook bags but I am more in favor of netbook cases because they accomplish two tasks beautifully: protect your baby and make it look hot!

How do you keep your tiny shinny netbook protected and prevent it from looking dull at the same time?

The answer just landed in my inbox courtesy of a representative of Hard Candy Cases who alerted me on the company’s cool cases for netbooks and select MacBooks.

They claim to be “The first company to design fashionable snap-on protective cases for the top-selling Asus and Acer netbook models” and whether that’s true or not (I don’t have the time nor inclination to verify and legitimize the claim), the bubble shell netbook cases that they have for sale are kinda sexy and useful.

If you remember, in previous posts I once asked about the usefulness of netbook bags but I am more in favor of netbook cases because they accomplish two tasks beautifully: protect your baby and make it look hot!

But the Apple MacBook Air still look desirable!" src="http://www.netbookera.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/apple-macbook-air-notebook.jpg" alt="No Apple netbook were announced today. But the Apple MacBook Air still look desirable!" width="475" height="148" />No Apple netbooks were announced at WWDC 2009 to the chagrin of some and to the “Aha, I told you that they would not release a netbook!” of others. While the price on MacBook Air notebooks has dropped, they’re still aren’t classified as netbooks.

However!

It’s interesting to note that all aluminum Apple laptops are now dubbed MacBook Pro computers. The old white plastic notebook is the only MacBook left. Industry observers are betting that yes, Apple netbooks are on the way and that the line will be called MacBook.

I don’t like to speculate or attempt to predict the future but the above MacBook netbook theory seems to make a great deal of sense to me. I am no expert in Apple’s business activities but one thing I know is that the Apple netbook waiting game is very, very far from over!
