Walmart has one of the biggest distribution systems in the world and if they’re going to stock a product, it is going to sell plenty to price conscious shoppers.
Netbooks are positioned as cheap laptops so naturally Walmart and other discounters are going to start selling them. It’s a good deal for Acer as the more Aspire Ones are sold, the cheaper they will get and the more popular they will get in return and so on.
