The Asus Eee PC 901 netbook pictured above has a 10 cell battery that allows it to run for about 14 hours. 14 hours!!!! That’s a flight from LA to Auckland (New Zealand) or watching a whole series of Eli Stone in one sitting. Wow oh wow! – See: Asus Eee PC 901 Loaded with 14-Hour Battery (Yowza!)

In the past, Slash Gear had done a review and were not impressed at all. When I write at all, I mean at all! “Fujitsu’s Amilo Mini Ui 3520 was the little netbook that shouldn’t have existed“, is what they said about the mini laptop.

What did Trusted Reviews think? The answer will probably not surprise you.

This Sony VAIO VGNTT15GNR ultra portable laptop is no joke. But it's no netbook. For starters, check out the price tag.

Netbook Era is a blog that covers, err…, netbooks. But since these mini-notebooks are ultra portable, ultra light and ultra small mobile computers, they occasionally could be confused with full-fledged laptops with similar looks but with a total different hood.

For instance, we may talk about the Apple Mac Air which is not a netbook but pretty light, small and portable. It’s just the price tag that’s so different because it has some pretty advanced and powerful specs.

We have to highlight the Sony VAIO VGN-TT15GNR, a smooth and sexy ultraportable laptop. It could be dubbed a super netbook because of its price and power specs. It really looks cute and dangerous, a combo that men all over the world caveat. For more see: Sony VAIO VGNTT15GNR review

Now we wonder how Sony is going to make netbooks (see: A Sony Netbook After All?) and price them cheaper.

“The Asus Eee PC 1002HA is a strong netbook entry that improves on its predecessor (the very good 1000HA) in a number of ways.

“One of the biggest changes in the Mini 1035NR is the use of the ubiquitous Intel Atom N270 processor compared to the slower VIA C7-M. This gives it a significant boost of performance over the older 2133 Mini-Note and is more on par with similar 10-inch netbook offerings.”, writes About.com in the HP Mini 1035NR netbook review.

“Setting up the Eee to be a good companion to my Mac systems proved to be trivially easy.
“Dell’s latest netbook blurs the line between these pint-sized portable PCs and their larger, more conventional cousins.
AnthonyGF, a viewer of the Acer Aspire One netbook review on YouTube writes in the comments section: “My squirrel friend just bought one for $600 and got a $100 rebate. It is cool because you can take it places easily. It has a camera, it’s pretty fast and has good power.

It came with a memory pen and can do all that she and I want to do, such as storing pictures, taking pics, holding songs, keeping some documents, etc. We mainly just get on line with it. I think it’s good and I’d like to have one of my own. So far so good, it has a warranty as well.“

“Our first look at the MSI Wind U120 has us excited for what MSI is promising in the final production unit. Until recently the MSI Wind was our favoriate netbook, but then the Samsung NC10 arrived on the scene with a stronger battery life and an even sleeker chassis.
Review of the LG X110 netbook that was launched in August 2008. While it's a rebranded MSI Wind, it still offers some differences. Discover which.

Thanks to Mobile Computer Mag for a review of the LG X110 Netbook which apparently is a rebranded MSI Wind U100.
