In the past, Slash Gear had done a review and were not impressed at all. When I write at all, I mean at all! “Fujitsu’s Amilo Mini Ui 3520 was the little netbook that shouldn’t have existed“, is what they said about the mini laptop.

What did Trusted Reviews think? The answer will probably not surprise you.

An external graphics solution for netbooks? Why not go for a laptop instead?

“External graphics solutions for notebook systems aren’t entirely new technology, but they’re rarely found readily available. One of the very first to hit retail, says Fujitsu Siemens, is its AMILO GraphicBooster.” - Fujitsu Siemens’ AMILO GraphicBooster ready to hit the market

My question is: why would anyone get an external graphics solution to use at home (given that it would not be practical to carry it around while on the move)? Why not get a full sized laptop that offers better graphics, power and screen size? And in the end, I bet that it would be a cheaper option.
